About Us

The San Diego Macintosh User Group is an Apple-recognized association dedicated to bringing people together to share information on computer and technology trends for the personal & professional enrichment of its members. We are a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the 501(c)3 non-profit iTecSD organization serving the San Diego region.

SDMUG typically holds meetings on the first Wednesday of each month featuring Mac-related how-to, workshop and software presentations from a wide variety of specialists. Please refer to the iTecSD calendar for the exact details.

The SDMUG’s School Support Program has a core of volunteers who are dedicated to helping schools maintain their computer labs in the best condition possible. If you represent or work with a school that needs our help, please contact any iTecSD Board member.

The SDMUG is 100% volunteer-driven. No matter what level of Mac user you are, there is a place for you in SDMUG. Members are encouraged to participate. Joining the iTecSD parent organization qualifies each member for any SDMUG benefits.

Other SIG’s in iTecSD include SDiOS for iOS developers, and iPubSD for all media and publicity-related activities for iTecSD.
