SDMUG – All About PDF’s!

September 7, 2016 @ 6:45 pm - 8:45 pm

| Free

PDFWednesday, September 7: ALL ABOUT PDF’s! PDF files are extremely popular, used everyday for manuals, forms, contracts, proofs, and so much more. But most of us are only using a fraction of what’s possible with PDF files. You can do a lot with Apple’s Preview application, or use a third party application like PDF Pen, Lightning PDF and Adobe Acrobat Pro to fully unlock the power within. The following are some of what will be covered in this presentation by Adam Christianson:

• How to build a form from a regular text file;
• How to edit a PDF file;
• How to troubleshoot PDF’s for web and print;
• How to edit a PDF as an image file in Photoshop;
• How to use DigiSign to digitally sign a legal document.

The SDMUG’s new meeting venue is in the Pyramid building at 7310 Miramar Road in San Diego. With excellent parking, easy access and awesome eateries in the immediate area (for our dinners after the meetings), the SDMUG is thankful to the guys at MacPhun who helped make this happen!

The San Diego Macintosh User Group normally meets on the FIRST Wednesday of each month!

Don’t forget the “Meeting after the Meeting” at Ballast Point Brewing and Spirits Brewery, 9045 Carroll Way, just two blocks from the Pyramid. Here’s their menu. This is a great time to get to know our fellow Mac enthusiasts and grab a late snack or dinner. Plenty of other dining options in the area so expect that we can change from month to month as we find our favorites.

Your RSVP is appreciated.

If you need more information, email to info@itecsd.org.

Important Notice: This meeting is at our new venue, the Pyramid at 7310 Miramar Road, in San Diego,between 805 and I-15. It’s easy to get to and has plenty of ground level parking. The meeting room is on the ground floor.

Don’t forget the “Meeting after the Meeting” – Location to be set at the meeting. This is a great time to get to know fellow Mac enthusiasts and grab a late snack or dinner.
