Wednesday, August 10: How to calibrate your display, printer, papers, color modes and even match up with outside printing companies.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the SDMUG meeting is on AUGUST 10th, the SECOND Wednesday in August.

Stephen Burns, moderator of the SD Photoshop User Group, is presenting. The topic: CALIBRATION and the new features in Photoshop 2016. How many times have you had the perfect image on your screen print inaccurately? There are screen profiles, printer profiles, paper profiles, color modes, room lighting, etc., all of which can affect how accurately your images print. How do you know which setting to make and when? Stephen will go through each step so be prepared to take notes!

Maybe you want to send off the image to Costco or an online specialty printer like Bayphoto.com (which is donating a couple certificates including for a metallic photo print!) Stephen will show how to set up Photoshop and your computer so your screen and your prints match up. (Obviously the computer display and print media cannot exactly match but Stephen will explain that.)

Stephen will also go over some of the new features in Photoshop 2016 as time permits.

With the new meeting venue in the Pyramid building at 7310 Miramar Road, excellent parking, easy access and awesome eateries in the immediate area (for our dinners after the meetings), this is a great way to get the SDMUG back up to speed!

The San Diego Macintosh User Group normally meets on the FIRST Wednesday of each month – but August 10th this month!

Don’t forget the “Meeting after the Meeting” at Ballast Point Brewing and Spirits Brewery, 9045 Carroll Way, just two blocks from the Pyramid. Here’s their menu. This is a great time to get to know our fellow Mac enthusiasts and grab a late snack or dinner. Plenty of other dining options in the area so expect that we can change from month to month as we find our favorites.

Your RSVP is appreciated.

If you need more information, email to info@itecsd.org.

Important Notice: This meeting is at our new venue, the Pyramid at 7310 Miramar Road, in San Diego, between 805 and I-15. It’s easy to get to and has plenty of ground level parking. The meeting room is on the ground floor.

Don’t forget the “Meeting after the Meeting” – Location to be set at the meeting. This is a great time to get to know fellow Mac enthusiasts and grab a late snack or dinner.
